MCCLURE — The Snyder County District Attorney took time to thank the McClure Volunteer Fire Company for their cooperation in prosecuting their former treasurer. Mike Piecuch says Shana McClellan pleaded guilty and was sentenced in November on felony theft charges. She was accused of stealing over $6,000 from the fire company between October of 2012 and September of 2013. McClellan served six months in county jail before being released on parole. She was ordered to pay back all of the money and so far, has returned about $1,000. Piecuch said, “A crime like this doesn’t just harm the fire company, but tears at the fabric of the community where it’s located.” Piecuch said...
